I must admit the Lead singer of Tame Impala sounds a lot like John Lennon, and their songs generally have a psychedelic vibe :)
I've known about these guys for awhile and i saw them a couple years ago at SASQUATCH! They are definitely bringing back the 60's/70's psychedelic rock that I unfortunately missed on account of my birth being delayed a couple decades. I have listened to plenty of The Beatles, The Doors, and Pink Floyd and this band is definitely resurrecting a dead genre.
Check em out, they'll be headlining Sasquatch Music festival in 2015.
